But the distraction is minuscule in comparison to the hundreds of walkers flooding the gates.Īfter the walker problem at the car shop is fixed, Daniel lashes out at both Strand and Madison. Dwight throws Russell onto the frontline of the walkers to use him as bait. He reassures them that they'll make it to safety as the rest handle the walker problem inside the walls. At PADRE, Dwight takes up a leadership position when he realizes all the children - who seem to make up the majority of PADRE's population - start looking to him for answers. Strand breaks the door open to get to PADRE, letting in the swarm of walkers. Bombs start to go off in PADRE's most secure building. It doesn't change Madison's mind, since she thinks Alicia and Tracy should be reunited. Strand and Luciana think Russell is just saying whatever he can to get Tracy back. Madison sticks the necklace in an empty gun magazine and places it in her jacket pocket after Tracy tries to use the gun against her. ![]() She gives Madison Alicia's necklace because it doesn't keep people safe. Tracy feels a lot of resentment about what Madison did to Troy. Luciana agrees, thinking Alicia deserves to rest and maybe that will help Madison see beyond her anger. Every time she feels this, she sees flashes of her children, yet she perseveres. Madison is under a lot of stress, and her health is rapidly declining. Madison wants Luciana to take her to Fort Worth to find Alicia, telling her that Tracy is tagging along because she can't live under Strand's fantastical mindset that everything is so pretty and perfect in the world. Luciana and Daniel are also planning their own escape, with Luciana fixing a car at a restoration place. Madison gives her a good piece of advice before they head off: Don't pretend the world is different from how it is. She has a hurt ankle and won't get far on her own. She doesn't believe Alicia is her mother, but she really doesn't have a choice.
